            Our first step was to frame the openings with care, squaring everything to receive new windows and an exterior door.             The heart of a sunroom is its glass. We installed energy-efficient, argon-filled windows designed to keep conditioned air where it belongs. For this project, one wall was finished in warm reclaimed wood, giving the room a grounded, lived-in feel from the very first day. The exterior received fresh siding and trim that tied the addition seamlessly into the existing home, so it reads as part of the house rather than something bolted on afterward.

            By the time the work was finished, the once-empty patio had become a bright, enclosed room ready for whatever its owner imagined.
